Central Islip Gathers for Homecoming Saturday
The Central Islip School District showed its pride on Saturday, October 18, during its annual Homecoming weekend festivities.
The morning began with a spirited parade from Alfano down Wheeler Road, finishing at the high school. Class floats, the marching band, schools, clubs, and the Central Islip Fire Department marched proudly, waving to families and friends along the route.
As the parade concluded, kickoff between the Musketeers and the visiting Brentwood Spartans ensued. At halftime, the Central Islip Marching Band, led by Mr. Jerry Ryan and Mr. Kevin Pyle, performed its Bruno Mars–themed show, while the cheerleading team energized the crowd with its routine.
